(A) ‘Fundamental Rights’ are the basic rights of the people and inalienable rights of the people who enjoy it under the charter of rights contained in Part III (Article 12 to 35) of the Constitution of India. It guarantees civil liberties that all Indians can lead their lives in peace and harmony as citizens of India. The Fundamental Rights are justiciable because when violated the aggrieved individual can move the courts for their enforcement. Article 32 confers the power of the Supreme Court to protect and defend the Fundamental Rights of the people.
