The greatest canal in the world is Suez Canal. It is an artificial waterway in Egypt which connects the Mediterranean sea to Red sea through the Isthumus of Suez. The Suez Canal starts from port said in North and extends for 193km to port Tewfik in the South. In 2019, the total traffic passing through Suez Canal reached an all time high of 81 ships carrying a total tonnage of 6.1 million tons in a single day.
