Solution:
Cost of (2 sarees + 4 shirts) = Rs. 1600
Then, cost of (1 saree + 2 shirts) = Rs. 800 ...(i)
Again, cost of (1 saree + 6 shirts) = Rs. 1600 ...(ii)
Solving equation (i) and (ii) we get,
Cost of 4 shirts = Rs. 800
Hence, cost of 12 shirts = 3 × Rs. 800 = Rs. 2400
