Dungarpur is a city in the southernmost part of Rajasthan. The district Dungarpur is named after the town of hillocks. The district is roughly triangular in shapeand located on the foothill of Aravali. The Mahi River runs along the western edge, forming the boundary with Banswara district. The Som River runs along thenorthern edge of the district.
