Ngangom Bala Devi, a footballer from Manipur created history for India by becoming the first lady professional footballer to bag a contract with a foreign club.
Devi signed an 18-month deal with Scottish Club Rangers Women’s FC.
She is also the first Asian international to join Rangers Women.
Bala Devi, India's top scorer and a former captain of the national women's football team, is among a group of 14 new players signed by the Scottish club.
She has scored 52 goals in 58 appearances for her country and has scored more than 100 domestic goals.
Rangers Women’s FC competes in the Scottish Women’s Premier League, the top division of women’s football in Scotland.
