Jainism was established by Mahavira. Jainism is an ancient religion from India that teaches that the way to liberation and bliss is to live a life of harmlessness and renunciation. The three main pillars of Jainism are Ahimsa, Anekantavada, and Aparigraha. Jains take five main vows : Ahimsa, Satya, Asteya, Brahmacharya and Aparigraha. Mahavira also known as Vardhamana was the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism.
