Malayalam film Jallikattu, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, has been selected as India's official entry for the Best International Feature Film category for the 93rd Academy Awards. Recently on October 23, 2021, Tamil Film Koozhangal (Pebbles) has been announced as India's official entry to the Oscars 2022.
