SSC CHSL 17 March 2020 Shift 3 Paper

The concept of Fundamental Duties in the Constitution of India was taken from USSR. Fundamental Duties were inserted in the Constitution through 42nd Constitutional Amendment Act of 1976 on the recommendation of Swaran Singh Committee. It is mentioned in Part IVA under Article-51(A). Originally, there were 10 Fundamental Duties, 11th Fundamental Duty was added in the year 2002.
