Kamaicha is a musical stringed instrument played by the Manganiars of West Rajasthan. It is described as the heart and soul of Rajasthani folk music. Kamaicha plays a crucial role in the vibrant music of the Manganiar community and can be heard/found more in the Jaisalmer-Barmer region. The Manganhar are a Muslim community found in the desert of Rajasthan mostly in the districts of Barmer and Jaisalmer.
