Slaked lime ● Calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2), traditionally called slaked lime. ● It has many names including hydrated lime, builders’ lime, slack lime, cal, or pickling lime. ● Used in road construction, to improve the quality of excessively plastic subgrade soils.
