The Managing Director of the State Bank of India Anshula Kant has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of World bank in 2019 by the President of World Bank David Malpass.
Ms Anshula Kant was born in1960 in Roorkee, India and completed her higher studies in Delhi from Lady Sri Ram College for Women and Delhi School of Economics.
She joined State Bank of India in 1983 as a Probationary Officer and has acquainted herself with a great Knowledge and working capacity which finally led her way to become the MD & CFO of the World Bank.
