Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow by choosing the right option:
Creative writing is any piece of writing where the purpose is to express thoughts, feelings, and emotions rather than to simply convey information. Creative writing is writing that expresses the writer's thoughts and feelings in an imaginative, often unique, and poetic way. The use of metaphors, motifs, and different language structures is the very basis of creative writing. Creative writing is not only for writing prose, poetry or fiction, it can also be used for successful reporting, impressive communication, and effective advertising.
Creative writing involves more than just being a creative individual. You need to know the fundamentals of writing well. It is a proper command over language that enables you to express yourself in an interesting manner. The use of synonyms, idiomatic use of language, knowing the difference between the written and the spoken word, formal and informal expressions, and sentence structures are some of the language elements that help you in creative writing. However, in the process of creative writing one can sometimes experience writer's block: this is just a temporary lull in the creative process. Just look around and you might find something that you can write a story about. Use your imagination to help you create story ideas. You can find inspiration in things that happen throughout your day. For example, if you see an odd-shaped car zooming past by on a dark night you could write down a few lines about what would have happened if you had won. Creative writing involves good imagination and command over language and expression.
