Solution:  
(a) Benefits enjoyed by the people working in an organised sector are:
(i) The workers working in this sector get access to paid leaves and also fixed working hours of 8 to 9 hours and most probably five or six days a week.
(ii) The workers have access to several economic benefits like provident fund, gratuity, leave encashment and medical benefits.
(iii) The workers also have numerous facilities like maternity leave for women, creche facilities for small children, and several kinds of allowance.
OR
(b) Public Sector contributes to the economic development of the nation in several ways:
(i) They make investments in the highend technology industries which requires large capital investments and prudent technology. This way they can lead to the progress of the industrial sector.
(ii) The development of the infrastructure is another important function of the public sector and it acts as a catalyst for economic development.
(iii) Public Sector also provides basic facilities to the general population of India who lack of financial resources and education. For example, construction of road, providing irrigation through dams, etc.
