The PM SVANidhi scheme was launched on June 1, 2020 by the Central government to help the street vendors resume their livelihood activities that were impacted by COVID-19. Under the scheme, vendors can avail working capital loan of up to ₹10000 which is repayable in monthly instalments within one year.
